Backed by renowned international investors, we are helping an ever-growing number of patients receive the highest quality of medical procedures the UK has to offer. To help us maintain this level of care, we need to expand our Finance team with highly motivated and passionate people who thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

As Finance Assistant - Working Student/Part-Time, you will support our Finance team in the completion of daily accounting tasks to help drive our business forward.
What you will do
  • Reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis.
  • Manage expenses per the outlined budget.
  • Review and process credit notes.
  • Issue sales invoices according to partner-specific instructions.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable.
  • Review and process accounts payable in accordance with internal compliance policies.
  • Generate weekly reports of unprocessed flagged bills and collaborate with the operations team.
  • Verify and process customer refund requests.
  • Communication of financial information and providing assistance upon requests from other departments.
Who you are
  • Studying (or previous studies) in the relevant field
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Google Suite.
  • You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring tasks are completed accurately.
  • Very strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
What we offer
  • Nilo mental health support subscription that allows each team member to have free consultations with therapists and psychologists for mental health signposting, recommendations and diagnosis
  • Urban Sports Club membership
  • Learning-and-development budget
  • Corporate discounts and subscriptions
  • Team events and team brunches, lunches and many more things
  • A hybrid-remote working set-up that allows for flexibility within the working week
  • We also provide an allowance to work fully remotely for three months per year so you can work from anywhere in the world (with a stable internet connection)!

Total duration: 1-2 weeks
We believe in giving everyone an equal chance. We want to find out if you have the necessary skills, independent of your background, gender, ethnicity, age etc. and take active steps to reduce any potential bias in our recruitment process.

  1. Screening: After you submit your application materials we will review them to gauge if they meet our requirements. We aim to get back to you as soon as possible.
  2. Recruiter call: If you pass the initial screening we will be in touch to schedule an initial video call. The goal of this initial video interview is to learn more about you and what you are looking for. This call is also an opportunity for you to learn more about Medbelle and the role so that we can both evaluate if there is a mutual fit.
  3. Hiring Manager interview:  If this all goes well, we will be in touch to schedule a video or face to face interview with the hiring manager, which will allow you to show how your experience will help you contribute to the role and department.
  4. Cultural match interview: Your final conversation will be a more personal chat with one of our founders. It will ensure that you will be a great addition to our entire team and will feel at home here.
