Job description

This is a remote position.

The client is looking for programmer Analyst, who will be expected to mentor and guide developers and delivering an ASP.Net Core MVC application that is secure, performant, robust, and adaptable.

Requirements

Resource must be able to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Recent programming and design experience in ASP.Net or ASP.Net Core MVC
Experience analyzing a problem, coming up with alternative solutions, selecting a proposed solution, and breaking it down into workable tasks
Experience with developing/implementing around a Service-Oriented Architecture
Experience designing and developing secure applications that address the requirements for both data confidentiality and client privacy
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Experience in writing and consuming functional and technical specifications to achieve software integrations between multiple highly complex systems
Demonstrated experience with ASP.Net MVC or ASP.Net Core MVC, Version 7 and/or 8
Demonstrated recent experience with code review and following coding guidelines and best practices
Demonstrated recent experience with UI Responsive Design including the use of Front End Frameworks, such as JQuery
Demonstrated recent experience with Unit Testing frameworks such as NUnit or MSTest
Experience in SQL Server including creation, maintenance and debugging of advanced packages, procedures, and functions
Demonstrated recent experience with developing .NET CORE REST APIs
Demonstrated recent experience working with Azure DevOps
Experience working within the Public Sector as a Programmer/Analyst
Experience working within the Student Financial Services field
