A Brief Overview

The US LBM Financial Applications Administrator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of several Financial Applications. This role focuses on managing Oracle Fusion modules to support business operations and strategic initiatives, but also includes management of other Financial related applications (such as SAP Concur, Billtrust, Conexiom, and Medius). As a key technical expert, the Financial Applications Administrator collaborates with business stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle Support to troubleshoot issues and implement system enhancements. The role requires a deep understanding of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure and a general understanding of SaaS applications.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborates with a broad team on matters of overall application governance.
  • Manages system changes to the Oracle Fusion application and underlying environment.
  • Manages system changes to various Finance related SaaS applications.
  • Performs and tracks periodic maintenance.
  • Executes IT general controls and other compliance related tasks.
  • Creates and maintains operational documentation.
  • Supports system updates and manages releases.
  • Monitors systems for performance and uptime.
  • Provides technical support for internal teams by identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborates with vendor support teams to resolve incidents.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent training and or demonstrable expertise.

Experience Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in an Oracle Fusion ERP application or system administration role.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP modules.
  • Familiarity with all aspects of typical application administration functions required in operating an Oracle Fusion system, its underlying platform and other SaaS financial applications.

Skills And Abilities

  • Certification in Oracle Fusion Applications or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices for incident and change management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Deep understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP modules as the role requires hands-on configuration, customization, and optimization of the ERP system.
  • Experience with initial system configuration, tenant setup, and workflow management.
  • Knowledge of role-based access control (RBAC), user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access audit practices.
  • Experience with patching, updates, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with security configurations (e.g., SSO, SSL), compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR), and incident management.
