If this sounds like you, we'd love for you to apply.

  • Plan and deliver specific projects and tasks that contribute to the set-up of new initiatives supporting action on climate, energy & nature.

  • Improve organisational effectiveness by identifying inefficiencies, optimizing workflows, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.

  • Coordinate the design, piloting and implementation of new operational tools and processes, and monitor and report on their progress.

  • Temporarily filling resource gaps when needed.

  • Lead the development and delivery of briefings and training.

  • Maintain a detailed overview of progress on assigned work and awareness of the bigger picture, ensuring delivery of work in line with organisational requirements.

  • Support other activities as requested by the Manager - Project Operations, Operations Director, Director of Organisational Development and COO.

Our ideal candidate has

  • 5-8 years direct experience in nonprofit operations and/or project management, including experience across different operational areas (e.g. grants, procurement, MEL, finance, budgeting, IT, governance).

  • Strong interest in operations and organisational development with a passion for improving effectiveness, and supporting others.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, proactive in anticipating challenges, with a pragmatic solutions-oriented approach to solving problems.

  • A high level of self-motivation and the ability to work in a flexible and agile manner, with minimal supervision at times.

  • The ability to manage deadlines, deal with uncertainty and change, and deliver high quality outputs within ambitious timeframes.

  • The disposition to work generously in a high-trust global community of peers.

  • Strong communication skills, and fluency in written and spoken English, our working language; additional languages are an asset.

  • The versatility and adaptability necessary to flourish in a fast-paced and wide-ranging work environment and work across time zones using tools such as Zoom, Slack and email (Google Workspace).
