How You’ll Make a Difference
You will play a unique and critical role in supporting PMI chapters—local, volunteer-driven communities that connect directly with PMI members. These chapters provide networking, educational, and professional development opportunities, helping members engage with PMI’s global initiatives at the local level. You will support these chapters by managing governance, performance, and operational matters, ensuring alignment with PMI’s strategic goals. Helping chapters thrive through volunteer engagement, issue resolution, and operational support.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- 3-5 years association experience or similar scope experience administering processes for dispersed geographic groups including working knowledge of not for profit organizational and governing documents (bylaws, policies).
- Demonstrated ability to create and apply performance metrics;
- General knowledge of association laws and general practices (Anti-Trust, UBIT Tax, Non-Profit Classifications).
- General knowledge of insurance program requirements, including general liability and professional.
- Quickly establish and maintain positive oral and written presence in high volume setting; build and maintain effective relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of staff, global customers, volunteers in varied committee structures, and external organizations with a track record of positive long term outcome-based relationships.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive organization topics and issues.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent tasks and commit to time-sensitive deliverables
- Experience of working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English)
