Job Description

The Customer and Partner (CPX) Operations Intern will work closely with the CPX Operations Enablement, Communications, and/or Resourcing teams to develop interactions with customers and employees. You’ll work with many other teams at Workiva covering a wide range of activities, from operational and analytical tasks to digital engagements with customers and partners, all while building skills and experiences. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Gain skills across communication development, data-driven business decisions, change management, process improvement, and technical proficiency 

  • Create internal and external resources, visuals, and communications 

  • Assist with data collection and analytics for a variety of projects

  • Audit internal processes and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Use a range of editing software to trim, arrange, and edit recorded video sequences

  • Facilitate 1:many customer communication campaigns and engagements

  • Assist with creating enablement materials for new hires

  • Support and organize internal communication channels

  • Scope professional development and other employee training resources

What You’ll Need:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Communications, Management, Business Analytics, or related program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities and responsibilities 

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Self-motivated with a strong focus on action, results and continuous improvement 

  • Interest in building a career in data analytics, communication, and/or enablement

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and G Suite a plus

Travel Requirements and Work Conditions:

  • Minimal travel 

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
