The Role

As the Manager of Risk & Underwriting, you will oversee the Risk team. You will be focused on minimizing losses on the payments platform, while balancing that with the need to create streamlined processes for onboarding customers to the payments platform.

 

What You Will Do

  • Manage the day to day review of transaction monitoring
  • Manage the day to day review of merchant account review
  • Manage the Payments Operations Inbox, including partnering with the Support and Accounting teams to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Re-build the merchant account review process and integrated it into a system (i.e. JIRA, Salesforce, etc…)
  • Create a transparent and digestible approach to assigning and tracking work assignments.  
  • Maintained performance for fraud losses.

 

What You Need to Succeed

  • Risk Management proficiency - Ability to assess fraud risk, credit risk and develop loss prevention strategies
  • In depth knowledge of payment systems, specifically the processing flow for various payment methods
  • Self starter and problem solver, with strong analytical skills.  The ability to break down problems and communicate results.
  • Technology savvy with the ability to navigate payments system user interfaces and reporting/dashboarding tools.
  • Leadership - Ability to lead, manager and mentor a team of risk analysts and underwriters.  Including creating processes and developing systems to streamline operations.

  • Customer centric approach - The ability to  meet  risk management requirements while delivering excellent customer experiences.  
  • Communication - Clear reporting and cross functional collaboration.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is: $85,500 - $128,000. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.

 

Location

This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
