The Role:
We are looking for a Data Analyst who excels at using Tableau and other data visualization tools to turn complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. In this role, you will be responsible for building efficient data models, optimizing performance, and creating engaging dashboards. While familiarity with QlikView is a plus (our legacy system is built on QlikView), it is not a strict requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Visualization & Reporting:
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards primarily in Tableau.
Translate data findings into visually appealing presentations and reports for stakeholders.
Data Modeling & Optimization:
Design, build, and maintain effective data models.
Implement optimization techniques to ensure data accuracy and performance.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to maintain data quality across databases.
Analysis & Insights:
Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights.
Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to support business decisions and strategies.
Recommend improvements based on data findings and business needs.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner with product, marketing, and operations teams to understand data requirements.
Offer recommendations on best practices in data usage and interpretation.
Communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role.
Fluent in Spanish and English
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Tableau (development, deployment, troubleshooting).
Experience with SQL and relational databases for data extraction and manipulation.
Understanding of data modeling concepts, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization best practices.
Experience with other BI tools such as QlikView (legacy environment) is a plus, but not required.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
