About our Data Science team

Our Kiwi.com Data Science team is responsible for building data-driven solutions to solve complex problems. We are data entrepreneurs, and we inspire our stakeholders to adopt a data centric mindset. We identify, prepare and track our value creation on high impact data use cases. We are committed to establishing the best and most up-to-date data science practices in our team, ensuring that we innovate at scale and speed. Some of our recent projects include dynamic pricing focused on pricing solution automation and ranking algorithms to help improve our search sorting criteria.

What you will do

You will design and nurture advanced statistical and ML solutions that create meaningful impact for our customers, products and business.

Drawing on your strong stakeholder skills, you will build supportive relationships with cross-functional teams, sharing your insights to enrich our product strategy.

You’ll identify potential business opportunities. You will use your professional experience to assess their feasibility and viability.

Your knowledge of ML models and solution implementation will help us to translate business needs into technical requirements as well as analyse tons of A/B tests.

You will communicate complex results, insights and strategic recommendations to non-technical audiences.

You’ll contribute to the Data Community at Kiwi through mentoring, presenting at conferences, setting and promoting best practices and standards.

What you will need

You have extensive professional experience in Data Science outside of an academic and internship setting.

You bring demonstrable experience with the application of statistical modelling and advanced analytics to create impact, uncover opportunities and drive decision-making.

A higher education in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.

You possess a deep understanding of statistical methods and Machine Learning concepts.

You have proficiency in SQL and statistical programming (Python or similar).

You are familiar with software development and agile methodologies.

You are excellent in spoken and written English.
