How you’ll make an Impact 

The Project Manager will oversee projects for vendor partners related to the development, deployment, and ongoing refinement of identified products. This role requires managing internal teams, coordinating with vendor partners, and ensuring successful project outcomes that align with strategic goals.

Summary of Location  

  • This is a 100% remote position
  • Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CST

What you will be doing

  • Align project goals with company objectives to ensure product development and partnership priorities support overall business strategy. Collaborate with vendor partners to align project outcomes with joint objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones for Product Partnership initiatives. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Ensure alignment with organizational objectives and partnership agreements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA, and business analysts, to deliver project outcomes. Guide the team toward project decisions, redirect when necessary, and foster collaboration. Set meeting agendas and tone, speak up when processes aren’t followed, and keep the project on course by actively removing blockers. Foster collaboration between internal teams and product partnership representatives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor partners. Facilitate regular status updates with vendor partners and internal stakeholders. Ensure clear, timely, and consistent communication with partner, the team, and management, adapting messaging for internal vs. external audiences.
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of projects to ensure timely, on-scope, and within-budget completion. Maintain up-to-date backlog and sprint boards and other reporting tools, including daily burndown reporting.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Track and resolve project issues promptly to minimize impact on timelines. Maintain a risk register and escalate issues when necessary. Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate risks to minimize disruptions, with regular analysis to address potential issues early.
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources. Assist in planning resource allocation and identifying any capacity constraints. Advocate for additional resources when needed to meet project goals.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of product materials. Ensure all documentation is consistent, accurate, and aligns with the product’s best practices. Provide detailed project reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Develop and prioritize the project backlog from the start, maintain ongoing backlog grooming, and ensure tasks are prioritized and refined.
  • Schedule and lead key Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews/demos, and backlog grooming sessions. Promote the adoption of best scrum practices in project management.
  • Establish and uphold standardized processes and best practices for project delivery. Regularly collect and analyze project data to identify areas for improvement, streamline workflows, and increase efficiency. Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement. Gather and integrate feedback to refine both the partnership process and the product outcome.
  • Coordinate with R&D and product teams to prepare products for client presentations, ensuring quality and compliance. Oversee training, documentation, and resources necessary for client-facing phases and product launches

You’ll be successful in this role if you have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • Minimum of 5 years of Experience project management within relevant fields (technology, product development, R&D, or consulting)
  • Ability to align projects with business goals and objectives and competence in balancing short-term project needs with long-term strategic priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences, including executive stakeholders, technical teams, and clients. Skilled in active listening, feedback, and conflict resolution
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration with ability to motivate, support, and guide teams through complex projects
  • Expertise in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks with ability to adapt to changing project demands and make swift decisions
  • Proficiency in diagnosing issues and developing effective solutions
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating project performance and process improvements
  • Experience managing client-facing projects with a focus on customer satisfaction and ability to build relationships and manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency with project management software, such as Azure DevOps or similar tools
  • Basic understanding of R&D and product development processes

Required language skills

  • Ability to communicate professionally, in English, both written and orally
  • Ability to write business correspondence and process procedures
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public

Bonus points for

  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or similar program for a strategic edge
  • Previous experience with the ConnectWise suite of tools (Automate, Control, Manage, Sell).
  • Prior experience working in the Managed Service (MSP) industry

The base pay range for this position is expected to be between $75,000.00 and $100,000.00 per year, plus an annual on-target bonus if applicable, not all roles are subject to a bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, and PTO. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

This includes following Ntiva’s IT User and Security Policies that include but are not limited to password-protecting all equipment, keeping confidential and proprietary documents secure, refraining from using public Wi-Fi, having adequate arrangements in place to avoid significant interruptions from caregiving responsibilities during work hours (except in emergency situations with manager approval). Any remote work away from a team member’s normal expected dedicated safe workspace must be requested by team member, is subject to review by management, and must adhere to Ntiva policies and procedures.
