Authentic8 is seeking a dynamic Federal Government Sales Director to lead and grow our US Government (USG) business. Reporting to the Head of Sales, this sales-minded leader will oversee a significant revenue stream and be responsible for driving revenue growth, customer retention, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to business development, a deep understanding of OSINT, and the ability to engage with executive leadership across our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Oversee the USG business, including Account Executives (AEs) and Customer Success Account Managers (CSAMs), to drive team performance and meet ambitious revenue goals.Sales Growth: Play “offense” by identifying and pursuing new logos, building pipeline, and expanding our presence within the federal market.Account Retention and Expansion: Play “defense” by strengthening customer relationships, retaining revenue, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.Executive Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership within key accounts, ensuring Authentic8’s solutions align with their strategic needs.Revenue Accountability: Achieve and exceed revenue goals tied to both retention and new business targets.Team Development: Mentor and coach AEs and CSAMs to deliver results while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.Domain Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of OSINT to understand customer challenges and position Authentic8’s solutions effectively.Qualifications:Sales Expertise: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a government-focused sales leadership role.Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing sales and account management teams.Customer-Centric Approach: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with executive stakeholders within government agencies.Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and its application within the federal government landscape.Strategic Mindset: Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution to drive results.Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.Preferred Skills:Experience selling into federal government agencies with complex procurement cycles.Understanding of SaaS business models and recurring revenue strategies.
Salary Range:$150,000 - $175,000 plus commission & equityIndividual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
