Job description

This is a remote position.

Our client is a leading insurance technology company on a mission to transform global auto insurance powered by advanced AI. As part of the Audit team, this role involves planning and executing internal and external audits for claims processing. The Claims Auditor will ensure compliance with applicable guidelines, monitor claims quality, and provide actionable insights to enhance processes.

Audits will include internal reviews of claims related to warranties, insurance products, and compliance measures, as well as external audits requiring occasional travel. These audits will result in detailed reports and recommendations to improve operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and refine a suite of audit reports.
  • Conduct and finalize both internal and external audit reports.
  • Provide accurate and timely audit findings and action plans.
  • Monitor claims to ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to organize and schedule audits.
  • Ensure all processes comply with relevant regulatory and company standards, including data protection requirements.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of auditing processes and methodologies.
  • Support the team in achieving organizational objectives.

Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • 8+ years of experience in claims auditing or a related role within the insurance or automotive sectors.

Key Skills

  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating claims data and identifying irregularities.
  • Knowledge of claims processing for warranties, insurance, and other related products.
  • Ability to identify fraudulent activity through detailed analysis.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and stakeholder engagement.
