Mid-Level Software Engineer

This is a technical role for Dynata’s Cmix team. Our software engineers plan, develop, release, and support features for the legacy Cmix platform, as well as integrations with other Dynata products. Engineers also maintain the platform’s cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

·       Participate in the design and implementation of software components for the Cmix platform.

·       Participate in planning and training sessions, as well as regular team meetings.

·       Support feature deployments to cloud infrastructure.

·       Perform security-related maintenance to protect sensitive information.

Skills and Attributes

·       Proficiency with PHP and Typescript.

·       Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.

·       Experience with cloud environments and highly-available web services.

·       Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

·       Familiarity with CI/CD and related best practices.

·       Outstanding critical, analytical thinking.

·       Superb interpersonal skills; ability to work with remote, distributed teams.

Additional Desired Skills

·       Familiarity with:

o   Laravel

o   React

o   Docker

o   AWS

o   TeamCity

·       Knowledge of Jira and other Atlassian products.

·       Experience with quality assurance practices.

·       Industry experience in market research.

Education and Experience

·       Degree in Computer Science (or a closely-related discipline) or equivalent experience.

·       Experience designing and developing enterprise-grade software written in PHP.

·       Experience deploying and maintaining enterprise SaaS in cloud-based hosting environments.
