Embedded within our network of affiliated OBGYN provider practices, this offers patients an intimate and familiar in-office environment, offering a convenient one-stop solution for well-women visits and annual screening mammograms.

Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Manager of Breast Imaging Operations in Arizona, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

The Manager of Breast Imaging Operations is responsible for addressing the day-to-day operating needs and related activities of the installed mammography and breast ultrasound business units for all locations. Must be an Experienced Mammography technologist ARRT registered RTRM. Requires regular travel to locations in AZ, NJ, PA and TX. Ensure scheduling of technologist coverage for each location daily, anticipating operational problems with planned preventive measures, arranging for repairs of equipment, phone, cable, and other technological components to ensure minimal to no downtime of operations. Assist the Manager of Quality for up-to-date status of all required licenses and regulatory permits/certifications, including but not limited to above State’s DHHs, CMS, OSHA, and FDA. Be available to assist with QA activities and database oversight of technologist and radiologist credentials.

The current market responsibility includes the states of Arizona, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas. This is subject to change.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with technologists, care center managers, and care center staff.
  • Partner with care centers to continually improve operations and patient volume.
  • Direct oversight of scheduling imaging staff.
  • Performs employee performance reviews and applying progressive discipline if needed.
  • Responds/arranges/may provide for emergency coverage of technologists.
  • Keep a log of all accreditation renewal requirements and assists with ensuring that all installations remain compliant with state and federal entities.
  • Serves as a key resource for MQSA, FDA, and ACR knowledge and individual state requirements.
  • Provides supporting documentation for ACR and MQSA regulations and ensures that the sites have current information.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of Policies & Procedures.
  • Assists PACS administrator when needed.
  • Monitors maintenance and repair of equipment when needed.
  • Works directly with Sr. Director of Breast Imaging Operations in hiring and mentoring of staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or healthcare-related field, preferred.
  • Minimum four years' experience in a Radiology or Breast Imaging management position, preferred.
  • Must be Experienced Mammography technologist ARRT registered RTRM.
  • Must be willing to obtain AZ, NJ, NV, PA, and TX Mammography License.
  • Requires a current State Mammography License.
  • Must have current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (R) (M).
  • Must meet continuing experience and continuing education required by MQSA.
  • Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to adapt style for most effective results.
  • Familiar with outpatient practice procedures, including EMR workflow experience.
  • Experience working with integrated patient scheduling preferred.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively in group and one on one settings.
  • Results-orientated individual possessing a strong record of success.
  • Resourceful approach to problem-solving, demonstrating critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent project, time management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel up to 50+%, including overnight visits.
  • Attend departmental meetings as required.
