Job description

Job Title: CMDB Consultant / Manager

Location: Remote

Duration: 7-9+ Months (Possible Extension)

Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

Role 1: Min yrs experience : 6 years

  • Skill: Configuration management ,excel, reporting
  • Be the FPOC (First Point of Contact) for CMDB day to day activities
  • CMDB stakeholder KPI governance report analysis and optimisation
  • Part of CMDB new enhancement discussion and road map
  • CMDB internal governance report analysis for overall health, defects or issues
  • Act as deputy for CMDB Manager on implementation of the CMDB Roadmap
  • Provide regular status updates on performance and challenges
  • Identify and implement CMDB simplification methods for single source of truth and better IS&T User adaption
  • Initiate various governance meetings with CMDB Stakeholders, IS&T architects , Operation Owners , partners
  • Ensure quality UAT checks on the CMDB enhancements developed by Service now architects

Role 2: Min yrs experience : 6 years

  • Skill: Configuration management, project management ,excel, reporting
  • Be the SPOC for CMDB Operations and Projects
  • Build the CMDB Vision and future projects projection
  • Ensure CIP(Continuous Improvement Plan) are well registered and implemented
  • Drive Projects as technical Business Analyst for CMDB process
  • Define and implement CMDB Governance model and IT4IT & Transformation roadmap (CMDB Accuracy, completeness etc),
  • Working on Feedback from the Stakeholders
  • Maintain strong and close relationships with configuration management key stakeholders including service owners, application owners, architects and IS&T Directors
  • Ensure clear and transparent communication methods for new and existing CMDB strategy , prioirties and governance
  • Evaluate CMDB process adaption with CMDB Stakeholders and users
  • Ensure OTD is accomplished, for every CMDB projects
  • Vendor Management
