Job Summary

As a Senior Application Developer (12393), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

Develop high quality software - readable, maintainable & efficient
Collaborate with the IT team members and business collaborators to identify needs, develop solutions and support day to day operations with technology.
Adheres to standard coding, change management, and security standards documented by Uber Freight management.
Create high quality technical documentation and results oriented POCs, and able be to present and discuss openly the ideas to others.
Active involvement in all scrum ceremonies
Works towards continual improvement of the systems by refactoring code of business functionalities or technical platform.
Provide support for implementations to Business Analysts, Product Managers and Technical Support in resolving production issues.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
Professional/ Advanced English skills.
4 yrs. of development experience on the Lamp Stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl)
4 yrs. of full stack development experience in Java EE
API knowledge
