Role Summary
The Senior Standby Consultant role will see you build upon our strong presence in the UK standby (backup servicing) arena, delivering for our existing clients and broadening into other asset classes and geographies. You will lead on complex discovery sessions with clients whilst leading a team delivering verification and testing activity for existing and new standby facilities.
What you will be doing
• Standby Discovery phase activity - delivery of the Standby Discovery phase activity, including producing accurate and detailed documentation and invocation plans, ensuring that the service delivery of the Standby proposition is market leading and ready to assume processing responsibility as required.
• Client meetings - planning and leading client meetings to understand how the client’s business manages operational and financial performance.
• Due diligence - assisting with the maintenance and development of the Standby servicing due diligence strategy to achieve the targeted business growth. Creation of detailed and thorough due diligence packs for the clients and investors taking accountability for its creation and maintenance.
• Lead a team - Manage a team of 4 FTE delivering verification services for standby clients, alongside regular testing ensuring relevant system access in the event of invocation.
• Identifying opportunities - to expand into other services in both new businesses and existing client accounts.
• Building relationships - with clients, leveraging financial skills and stakeholder management to operate at a strategic level with the clients’ senior decision makers.
• Administration - general administration duties, including managing CRM, spreadsheets, folders, and other documentation.
What we are looking for from your application
• Experience - practical servicer experience, and a knowledge of the IT, Legal and processing requirements for the asset classes where the Lenvi Standby service is provided.
• Ability to challenge – the status quo, acting as a catalyst for change, appropriately challenging and influencing as the company evolves.
• Knowledge - a deep understanding of the lending sector and able to eloquently articulate the challenges facing lenders in those markets and how Lenvi can address them.
• Leadership – experience managing a team and influencing team members to deliver positive client outcomes.
• Communication - excellent communication skills, used to lead meetings with high level stakeholders and manage expectations accordingly.
• Problem Solving –when engaging with clients to create bespoke invocation plans and discovery documents, working in a range of asset classes.
• Stakeholder management - the ability to leverage intellect and personal integrity to achieve credibility with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and industry experts.
• Business threats and opportunities - connectivity with the external environment to anticipate business threats and opportunities, using strategic thinking skills to work with the Managing Director and Leadership team.
• Influencing - strong influencing skills and an ability to operate effectively within a matrix management framework.
• Prioritisation - ability to balance priorities and adapt quickly to change, working calmly under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
