The task at hand for an ambitious sales-minded team player is to develop this region to its fullest potential. Primary focus will initially be on finding and developing sales channels and helping them to close on orders.
More specifically, responsibilities will be as follow:
• Locate, develop and train new sales channels to grow sales of Munters products and services. This must be done in a way that supports the chosen FoodTech strategy in terms of priorities on market segments and regions to serve.
• Agree with BU manager on annual sales goals for region. Then cascade this down by setting individual annual goals for sales channels in terms of financial targets and agreed upon actions to reach these targets. Support sales channels as needed to reach their targets and have regular follow-up meetings with sales channels to evaluate progress on targets and if required, actions needed to get back on track.
• As needed support sales channels in efforts to promote Munters products and services to large enterprises such as integrators. Support sales channels in efforts to close on large deals.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams from other regions as well as sales and marketing teams from Business Line Software (MTech) to coordinate activities where applicable.
• Engage directly with key stakeholders, such as integrators, in your area of responsibility to build relationships and promote Munters products and services.
• Keep data in the CRM system current and participate in the monthly regional commercial review.
• Gather first person market intelligence by having regular in-person discussions with both sales channels and end users throughout the region. Be prepared to use this market intelligence to give input into other business purposes such as the annual budgeting process and ad hoc produce development meetings.
• Constantly keep building your knowledge and understanding of farming practices and food supply chain activities in your area so that you can be seen as a trusted knowledge partner to send users, sale channels, integrators and other key role players.
Experience:
7-10 years in similar role
Degree in Business or engineering preferred but not required
