Job description

Join us as a Working Student Software Engineer (m/f/d) in our Vehicle Integration team on a shared journey that matters!

The vehicle integration domain is integrating the MOIA ride pooling service into fully autonomous vehicles. To efficiently develop such a complex system automation is a crucial part for the developers. We are looking for a skilled and motivated working student that can improve our efficiency and contribute to our success by creating solutions that allows automatic exchange of technical information like requirements, interface descriptions and architecture between our repositories and different development tools.  

The role and your impact at MOIA 
  • Collaborate with the different teams to find out how to maximise the effectiveness of the developers by adding automation that reduces manual work.   
  • Create a solution to exchange information between git repositories and different tools using REST API.  
  • Integrate the solution (possibly as part of our CI/CD pipeline) so that the needed information exchange is happening automatically whenever a change is performed in the tools or repositories 

Job responsibilities and detailed projects will be determined based on your educational background, interests and skills. 

What will help you to fulfill your role  
  • You are currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's or Master's program.
  • Knowing how to develop web solutions - mainly backend.
  • To support you in your personal development and to be able to take ownership of projects and processes, you should be available for at least half a year. 
  • Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript (Node.js)
  • Experience with using REST APIs and using Git.
  • You can take initiative and find solutions to technical problems on your own by creative thinking and using existing (API) documentation 
  • You have good communication skills and proactively reach out to new colleagues to gather information needed to develop the best solution
