Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the delivery side of our business. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead the production team, refine processes, manage systems, and ensure our clients are consistently thrilled with the results.

In addition to overseeing operations, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and may occasionally step in as a project manager to ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives. You will also report directly to the executive team, keeping them updated on the state of projects, issues, and escalations.

Tasks include:

Project Delivery Excellence:

  • Ensure all projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and at the quality levels expected by our clients
  • Monitor project progress, address potential issues proactively, and implement corrective measures when needed
  • Step in as a project manager when necessary, taking ownership of planning, execution, and delivery of critical projects

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and collaboration
  • Support project managers in overcoming challenges and achieving their objectives

Process Optimisation:

  • Assess, refine, and implement delivery processes to ensure efficiency and alignment with industry best practices
  • Standardise delivery methodologies and encourage their consistent application across the team
  • Ensure processes are designed to optimise project execution and maintain alignment with budget constraints
  • Incorporate operating model design to establish scalable frameworks that align processes, systems, and resources with strategic objectives

Systems Management:

  • Oversee the utilisation of delivery systems and tools to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance
  • Evaluate current systems to identify opportunities for improvement, modernisation, and alignment with organisational goals
  • Ensure systems are up to date and effectively utilised by the team

Reporting and Communication:

  • Provide regular updates to the executive team on the state of projects, identifying risks, issues, and opportunities
  • Escalate critical issues and challenges promptly, along with proposed solutions, to ensure swift resolution

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Act as a key point of contact for delivery-related client concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Strengthen client relationships by ensuring the delivery of high-quality, impactful solutions

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Align delivery strategies with Realm Digital’s business goals in collaboration with the leadership team
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure seamless integration and support


Essential Skills, Attributes & Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as an operations manager, project manager, or similar role within a technology or digital production environment
  • Hands-on experience managing end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and quality assurance
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration, building client relationships, and keeping stakeholders informed
  • Experience in refining operational systems and processes
  • Passion for quality, innovation, and exceeding client expectations
