Job description

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Telehealth Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold full certification with the Medical Board of Australia to practice medicine and prescribe medications, including medicinal cannabis. You will deliver virtual consultations, assess patient conditions, and provide evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct telehealth consultations to assess patients medical conditions and suitability for alternative treatments, including medicinal cannabis.

  • Prescribe medications in compliance with Australian medical regulations.

  • Develop and document individualized treatment plans while maintaining detailed patient records.

  • Educate patients on the safe use of prescribed medications and alternative therapies.

  • Stay up-to-date with developments in alternative medicine, medicinal cannabis, and related legal frameworks.

  • Collaborate with pharmacists, allied health professionals, and support teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  • Adhere to all professional standards, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements for medical practice in Australia.

Qualifications:

  • Full certification with the Medical Board of Australia to practice medicine and prescribe medication.

  • Eligibility for one of the following pathways assessed by the Australian Medical Council (AMC):

  • Competent Authority Pathway.

  • Specialist Pathway.

  • Standard Pathway (including supervised practice if required).

  • Strong knowledge of medicinal cannabis and alternative treatment options.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct virtual consultations effectively.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.

  • Commitment to patient-centered care and holistic treatment approaches.

Working Hours:

  • AU time zone, Monday to Friday.

  • Work Arrangement: Remote
