Heartbeat Health is seeking an experienced Bilingual Medical Receptionist to join our Operations team! In this role, the employee will be required to work the hours of 8 am to 5 pm or 9 to 6 pm PST.

About the Gig
  • Phone management:Answering phone calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, taking messages, and scheduling appointments over the phone. 
  • Appointment scheduling:Managing appointment schedules, ensuring accurate scheduling based on provider availability, confirming appointments with patients, and rescheduling as needed.  Collecting insurance details during scheduling.
  • Communication with healthcare team:Relaying patient information to medical providers, coordinating with other staff members, and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
  •  Patient Experience:Adhering to HIPAA confidentiality standards and ensuring a positive patient experience.

  • About You
  • 1+ Years experience working as a medical scheduler and/or receptionistExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers 
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Strong organizational skills to manage appointment schedules and patient records efficiently 
  • Attention to detail to accurately maintain patient information 
  • Ability to multitask within multiple computer systems and handle a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to problem solve and think independently
  • Preferred experience working in a virtual work environment
