Job description

  • Direct and assist the Third Party Risk Management Program  programs including third party due diligence, internal and supply chain risk assessments, monitoring, audits, and preparation of Modern Slavery Statements and other statutory reporting, as required.

  • Direct and assist the whistleblowing platform and investigation case management system, including build and daily management.

  • Direct and assist in carrying out internal investigations of a high risk/high impact nature, build investigation framework, processes, and templates.

  • Direct and assist the development and implementation of the Corporate Compliance Liaison program.

  • Direct and assist in the development, review and update of the Fortrea Code of Conduct & Ethics, Fortrea Supplier Code of Ethics and internal corporate compliance policies/standard operating procedures.

  • Direct and assist in the development and implementation of corporate compliance training/awareness campaigns and communications [including annual enterprise-wide compliance training, and targeted training in high-risk business areas (third party risks, conflicts of interest, gifts/entertainment, etc.).

  • Provide an advisory, review, and approval service for RFI’s, contract negotiations, inquiries, sanctions, conflict of interests, gifts, travel, entertainment, hospitality, charitable contributions, and other compliance areas.

  • Direct and assist corporate compliance risk assessments program (enterprise-wide, region/country/business unit specific)

  • Direct and assist in the development and implementation of a corporate compliance monitoring program.

  • Direct and assist in data tracking, reporting, and analysis for statutory, regulatory, ESG, board/committee, and other purposes.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall Corporate Compliance Department strategy, goals, and mission.

  • Demonstrate integrity, professional ethics, and sound judgement in managing risks and enforcing company-wide standards.

  • Assist with enterprise-wide initiatives to ensure the development of new products and services is consistent with Company compliance and legal obligations.

  • Act as lead attorney and subject matter expert on all matters relating to trade compliance, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Bribery Act (and other Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption regulatory frameworks) Modern Slavery Act, and other relevant compliance laws and regulations. 

  • Advise the services, marketing, sales, business development and other business teams on compliance with corporate compliance legislation and regulations in Fortrea’s day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

Experience (Minimum Required):

  • Years of experience in the job discipline: 12 to 15 years

  • Experience working in a legal setting (law firm, in-house, or government position). Ability to undertake and prioritize mission critical tasks in a fast-paced environment
