The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Tax Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Building the bridge between Tax legislation and the IT function by setting up (requirements for) the Tax engine in our new ERP landscape while still maintaining the current system in the interim state
• Supports the Compliance reporting process by resolving tickets, streamlining and improving compliance data and working with data analytics tools
• Work with data analytical and query-tools to improve processes for both the Indirect and Direct Tax teams
• Supports the Business and departments like AP by providing feedback and advise on issues and new scenario’s

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND hands on experience with either VAT Compliance or VAT automation processes

OR

• High School Diploma/GED from AND hands on experience with either VAT Compliance or VAT automation processes

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Working experience in an environment with complex supply chains and cross border transactions
• Working experience with SAP in combination with an external tax engine

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Degree in Fiscal Economics or Fiscal Law from an accredited institution
• Skills include being able to work in cross-functional teams

Work location:

• Remote

Travel: May include up to [5%][domestic/international]
