We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to partner with the organization’s leadership and People & Culture (P&C) team in Csanyikvolgy Site in Hungary as the catalyst for the deployment of the One Sanofi People Strategy for the company. The incumbent will contribute to the achievement of the company's short- and long-term goals by providing P&C strategic leadership and support (talent management, performance, organization, culture, etc) whilst ensuring alignment to Sanofi’s Global Business Strategy as well as the Play to Win culture.  

 

Main responsibilities: 

As a member of the Central & Southern Europe (CSE) Multi Country Organization (MCO) People & Culture team, you will be expected to work in close partnership with the Plant leaders and the rest of the P&C community across the geography. 

You will be responsible for the activation of our People and Culture strategy in our Manufacturing Site in Csanyikvolgy Hungary – a competitive, reliable production Site with innovative solutions, a leading unit for pharmaceutical production of ampules and pre filled syringes. In Csanyikvolgy we thrive for success by making sure we deliver 100% on our Customer Service, remaining competitive in terms of cost per unit and productivity while retaining excellent and robust overall performance. 

 

Playing your part in playing to win for this site you will be responsible for: 

  • Reflecting changes in local processes, procedures, and policies according to Center of Expertise (COE) guidelines. 
  • Supporting  delivery of people & culture activities that require on-site presence or where local language requirements cannot be covered by the hubs. 
  • Talent Acquisition – Support on-site activities as required in partnership with TA team. Obtain approvals from works council/union where applicable. 
  • Talent Management – Deliver workshops to upskill People Managers. Engage in calibration talent reviews as needed to support 1st line managers. Support employees and managers locally in development advice. 
  • Learning – Support learning admin and handle local audit of learning delivery in partnership with Learning COE 
  • Rewards and Recognition – Support adjustment and negotiation of collective labor agreements, manage personnel cost/ budget, local plans, operational health of work schedules and exceptions. 
  • Insights – Handle reporting request using local data sources (e.g., local government reports) 
  • Org Design and Effectiveness Partner with the People Business Partner of M&S and R&D to implement organizational changes in local systems (if required), manage reorganizations by supporting union/ works council negotiations as well as managing the transition/ exit of people. 
  • Employee Relations – Support People Excellence Lead Hungary in liaising with local co-determination bodies and advise managers on employee relations matters & handle cases end-to-end. 
  • Mobility - Support on-site relocation, if necessary
  • Promote continuous improvement through feedback loops and process improvement ideas and implementation. 
  • Proactively encourage all line managers and employees to utilize internal systems.

              

About you 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, especially in the industrial fiel
  • Great leadership, collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization & ability to represent P&C externally. Strong above country /site mindset. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. 
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian
