Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with React knowledge. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing scalable, robust and high-quality solutions. As an engineer you are a professional with several years of hands-on experience, possessing advanced technical skills and in-depth knowledge. You excel in problem-solving, effective communication, guiding and mentoring other engineers, making critical technical decisions, and contributing to the strategic direction of projects.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience building Software Applications.
• 3+ years of professional experience working with JS frameworks and libraries.
• 2+ years of experience working with React.js.
• Experience developing applications employing accessibility and inclusivity standards. 

Required Skills

• Strong experience in React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and building adaptable UI components.
• Expertise in frontend architecture and configuration of Webpack, npm, and Yarn Workspaces.
• Proficient with Styled Components, SCSS, GraphQL, and React Query.
• Hands-on experience with React Testing Library, Jest for unit testing, and Storybook for building design systems.
• Experience working with tools like Figma to collaborate with design teams on the best UX.
• Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA and communication tools such as Slack and Google Meets.
• Strong knowledge of Git, GitHub, or GitLab for version control.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with accessibility trends and best practices.
  
• Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Soft Skills

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Open to adopting and learning new technologies and methodologies.

Nice to Have Skills

• Any IAAP (International Association of Accessibility Professionals) certification (IAAP CPACC – Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Concepts or IAAP WAS – Web Accessibility Specialist) is a plus. 
• Experience with ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) is desired.
  
• Experience with security best practices (e.g., OWASP, OAuth).
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques such as caching and code optimization.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
