Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • Part-time, flexible hours 4 hours a day for 5 days a week with meetings with the client once or twice a week

Job Description

We’re seeking a talented and passionate Graphic Designer to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in creating visually compelling materials that help tell the stories of impactful nonprofit organizations. Your designs will directly contribute to securing funding and support for critical social causes. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from sleek PowerPoint presentations to comprehensive reports and eye-catching InDesign documents. Responsibilities
  • Craft professional and visually appealing reports, PowerPoint presentations, and InDesign documents tailored for nonprofit clients
  • Design impactful materials specifically for board members, funders, and philanthropists, helping to secure vital support for our clients
  • Collaborate remotely with our consulting team, primarily through email, to ensure designs align with client needs and objectives
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently, often with quick turnaround times, while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Adapt designs based on client feedback, ensuring each piece effectively communicates its intended message
  • Stay current with design trends and best practices in the nonprofit sector to continually improve our visual communications

Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in graphic design, with a portfolio demonstrating your skills and creativity
  • Proficiency in InDesign, PowerPoint, and Adobe Illustrator; experience with other design software is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, especially in written form, as most interactions will be via email
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment
  • Experience with or genuine interest in nonprofit sector design work
  • Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility for occasional meetings
  • Self-motivated individual who can thrive in a remote work setting
  • Passion for social causes and ability to translate complex information into visually appealing designs
  • Willingness to learn about various social issues and adapt designs to effectively communicate these topics
