Automation Tester, Remote

Description

Seeking an Automation Tester to support a contract with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.  

Responsibilities

• Creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to ensure software quality. 
• Collaborating with developers and QA teams to identify test requirements. 
• Developing automated tests for new and existing features. 
• Analyzing test results and reporting defects. 
• Ensuring comprehensive test coverage and regression testing.
• Troubleshooting automation issues and updating scripts as needed. 
• Implementing best practices in test automation frameworks and tools. 
• Documenting testing processes, test cases, and results. 
• Continuously improving automation strategies for efficient testing. 
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience
• Bachelors or Associates degree in related field
• Experience with the following:  Postman/Newman, Playwright, Apache JMeter, pytest, JUnit , unittest, LoadRunner
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
• Excellent organization skills
• High emotional intelligence and sensitivity
• Some experience in communicating across the organization, using intuition for applying the right approach to engage with people in the best way; high-level sense of responsibility for communicating and sharing information in the most appropriate way
• Able to analyze and to think quickly and to resolve conflict
• Able to adapt to a changing environment
• Self-motivated, and able to maintain a professional, positive, can-do attitude while staying focused in the middle of distraction
