Job Summary
The Assurance Traceability Specialist will report to the Digital Traceability Assurance Manager and will work as part of a team to ensure successful implementation and evolution of the assurance model. The Specialist will work closely with and support the assurance team to manage and implement projects related to data and traceability.
The role will combine experience in certification, chain of custody and data/digital technology and will support Textile Exchange’s Climate+ strategy by supporting the Standard Systems that enable the adoption of Preferred Fibers and Materials.
Full time, 40 hour a week position with flexible working schedule due to ability of remote/virtual work and collaboration with an international team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop project strategy, scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility of the digital traceability assurance related projects, e.g. data systems for certification body performance tracking; data exchange with other internal teams such as MEL; conducting data-related pilots with external stakeholders.
- Maintain project plans and documentation, track progress and ensure delivery against timelines, measure project performance, reporting and escalating to management as needed.
- Support stakeholders during project execution by coordinating the work of individual team members throughout all phases of the project.
- Support the revision of assurance policies and procedures on topics related to data requirements and other assurance system reporting information.
- Support development of technical solutions from a standard/assurance context.
- And other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience including combined experience in sustainability standards system and certification (experience working with Textile Exchange standards or other members of the ISEAL Alliance a plus) and/or project management in a related field.
- Demonstrated strong project management skills, preferably related to data and technology-related projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with key internal stakeholders.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills and working across cultures as part of a global team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Native-level proficiency in English highly desired.
- Technical knowledge and experience in supply chain management, textile and/or apparel sectors highly preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of the chain of custody models and principles.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

- Annual Salary Range: $52,000 - $74,000 USD
- To be filled as soon as possible (start date to be agreed between both parties).
- Our salary structures are location-agnostic, ensuring equal pay for the same role, irrespective of location. Final employment offers are determined based on the role, candidate experience, education, and other relevant factors, but not on location. Offers will be presented in the local currency of the candidate's permanent residence. Benefits are tailored to the region of the candidate's permanent residence and align with Textile Exchange’s regional employment packages.
