Your role in the team
- As a key member of the Asia-Pacific and Middle East Content and Customer Engagement team, you'll develop and implement social media content strategies that drive results.
- Using data analytics, you'll monitor performance and adapt content to optimize engagement. Your work will directly contribute to the region's commercial success.
- You will enhance our content through creative visual and multimedia elements that align with IG's brand principles.
- Your responsibilities will include creating educational materials, social media assets, SEO-optimised articles, and client communications.
- Additionally, you'll manage content through IG's content management system.
What you’ll do
- You will partner with the Head of Content & Customer Engagement to develop strategies that advance commercial goals across Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and our four local markets.
- Taking an active role in editorial planning, you will shape content strategy and guide platform-specific execution alongside our creative team.
- You will lead regional social media managers in implementing best practices across all platforms.
- Performance analysis is crucial – you will prepare monthly reports on social metrics and adjust content strategies based on data insights.
- Additionally, you will track competitor activity and create visual presentations that highlight our competitive strengths and opportunities for improvement.
- We are looking for someone eager to embrace emerging technologies like AI and automation in social media.

What you’ll need for this role
You are a natural communicator and future leader. You can display in-depth knowledge of social media platforms and platform-appropriate content. You have excellent reporting and presentation skills to help craft the story of social media to local markets and regional leadership. You are accustomed to working within regulatory and compliance constraints. You are a self-starter who can multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative and actively works towards uplifting the profile of the team.
You can come up with creative ideas within regulatory, platform and product constraints and have the confidence to share your ideas with the team and senior stakeholders throughout the APAC region.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in business/marketing
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Ad-lib/Smartly, Brandwatch, Sprout Social or similar marketing technology
- Managed multiple social media accounts in previous roles
