A Day in the Life:

We are seeking a highly-skilled Senior Sales Solution Engineer with a background in systems engineering/architecture, client-facing technical discovery and presentation, and a deep sense of teamwork. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting with our clients and prospective clients to identify, quality and solution Sparq delivery approaches and technical architectures, and, ultimately, to develop and review project proposals and work statements.

  • Work closely with Sales, Resourcing, and Delivery Leaders across the company on the various clients and opportunities that this role will play a key part in
  • With the appropriate Sales Client Executive and or Delivery Executive, meet with existing clients and prospective clients at their locations to provide Sparq background and technical capabilities
  • Generate estimates and high-level work plans, artifacts, and/or reference architectures for client needs
  • Qualify and determine engagement approaches, jointly with sales and delivery colleagues; develop and review work statements
  • Effectively communicate and transition knowledge to Sparq recruiting, resource management, and delivery colleagues
  • Research & propose potential future Sparq service offerings

What it Takes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience with modern web-based programming languages
  • Experience with Microsoft Office – PowerPoint and proposal development
  • Strong knowledge of software implementation approaches, architectures, and best practices
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Travel up to 50% to client and prospective client locations
