About the team
Are you seeking to join a dynamic team of program managers dedicated to delivering a spectrum of technology solutions, from large-scale implementations to small optimizations, for Talent Success and Talent Acquisition? The Recruitment Enablement and Experience team collaborates closely with Talent Success/Talent Management partners, as well as our People Org Product and People Org Engineering teams, to provide a comprehensive portfolio of technology solutions. This includes a diverse array of third-party SaaS products and custom-developed applications.

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Technology Enablement Program Manager to join our team at Zillow. This role will focus on technology solutions for Talent Success organization within People organization (HR). The Zillow Group Talent Success organization drives the overall strategy and execution of Talent Management initiatives for all employees, including but not limited to onboarding programs, professional development and performance, and leadership development. Our Talent Success team is a talented group of leaders, consultants, facilitators, designers, program operation leads, program managers and LMS managers. Together, we work to enrich the career and learning experience of our employees so they can develop personally and professionally in alignment with company goals.

This role is crucial in driving the strategic implementation and optimization of technology solutions that enhance our talent management processes, ensuring that our HR operations are efficient, scalable, and aligned with our business goals. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR technology, a passion for leveraging tech to improve employee experiences, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
 

As a Tech Enablement Sr. Program Manager, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to modernize and streamline our talent management systems. You will work closely with HR and Talent Management (TM) leaders, People Product, Engineering professionals, Talent Acquisition and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for technological improvements, lead the selection and deployment of new systems, and ensure that our tools are being used to their fullest potential. Your role will involve not only technical expertise but also a strong focus on stakeholder management and continuous improvement.

You will play a key role in ensuring that our technology infrastructure supports our strategic People Org initiatives, from Talent Acquisition and onboarding to performance management and employee development.   • Work across Talent Management (TM) teams (Onboarding, Performance, Career Development, Leadership) to understand the full spectrum of technology needs, assess gaps in the current employee experience, and identify opportunities for improvement with AI. 

  • Stay informed on industry trends and TM technology advancements to anticipate future needs and enhancements to the employee experience. 

  • Work with our People Product partners to conduct in-depth discovery sessions for requirement documentation, tool selection, and implementation plans.

  • Partner on the implementation of new tools, including change management and training resources.

  • Keep up to date with new technologies and AI advancements in the TM landscape to develop strategies for implementation.

  • Partner with TM teams and People Product to build product roadmaps for the Annual Operating Plan

  • Use data analytics to monitor the effectiveness of TM technologies ensuring a positive user experience and continuous improvement.

  • Create system guides to support employee training on digital TM tools, promoting adoption and engagement.

  • Partner with People Product to write and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts for new feature/product launches of TM technologies.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $105,900.00 - $169,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

  • Excellent relationship management skills, especially with senior stakeholders and across projects of high risk and complexity

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and interpret data to drive decision-making

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to connect projects and initiatives to the larger goals and objectives of the organization and advance projects even in situations of ambiguity where the steps may not be clear

  • Strong technical skills: Instructional design tools and technologies, HCM Knowledge (Workday), Learning Management System (LMS), and Workday Journey

  • Professional & Project Management Tool Expertise:  Asana, Lean Six Sigma, Agile / SCRUM, G Suite, Slack, Outlook, Jira

  • Advanced consultative skills, with the ability to diagnose and analyze stakeholder needs, determine, and develop solutions for high visibility and complex initiative

  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to think strategically and develop long-term talent management initiatives in line with organizational goals

  • Experience with change management processes and an ability to mediate and resolve conflict

  • Strong systems thinker who can ensure how all the moving parts of an employee journey will work together

  • Have the ability to forecast level of effort required both functionally and technically to evaluate, select, implement, integrate and optimize robust Talent Success solutions.
     

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related field or equivalent experience

  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience with talent management strategies, including organizational development, human performance improvement, and performance management

  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience leading projects and managing diverse individuals

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
