Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a sharp Transition Manager to join our growing team!
The Transition Manager is responsible for, along with the OPIR Tech Director PM, transitioning the program from the incumbent contractor to parsons over a period of 90 days, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential transition and resource limitations issues. In this role you will maintain constant communication with the Government and Parsons leadership on transition status. You will own the overall program transition and supports the OPIR Tech Director PM in managing major milestones, activities, events, deliveries, integration points, and relevant mission partner and external schedule data.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Produce accurate, and easily understood status summaries / briefs on relevant topics for leadership, business development, and others
- Monitor and support program execution, including
- Support and lead cost, schedule and risk assessments
- Support and lead program milestone reviews and meetings
- Identify, report and resolve any potential transition or integration issues.
- Work with directly with government military and civil personnel and other contractors
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering or related technical/business field or additional relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree
- 20+ years of experience working on DoD projects supporting program transitions.
- Demonstrated relationship with the DoD customers.
- Understanding of Space Systems Command (SSC) organizations and methods.
- Ability to effectively present transition status to Parsons leadership, senior DoD and other US government officials
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Salary Range:
$79.33 - $149.04
