Who will you be joining? 

As a student you will be part of the General Accounting, Closing & Reporting team within the department "Accounting & Reporting Allianz SE".

In our team, we consolidate the essential functions of both accounting and regulatory reporting. The responsibilities of this team range from accounting policy guidance, preparation of quarterly and annual closings, planning and analysis of financial data to presentation of results to various internal and external stakeholders (Management/Supervisor/Public).

STUDY PROGRAM 

Do you enjoy putting seminar content directly into practice and thereby actively shaping the future of companies? With your master’s degree at the School of International Business and Entrepreneurship (SIBE), you can do both: During your two-year job-integrated master's degree, you will be assigned to Allianz and implement one or more beneficial projects for them. In addition to your regular day-to-day work, which you manage, you have the opportunity to shape corporate and personal development through these projects.

In combination with this job offer, you can study the SIBE Management Master - M.Sc. in International Management, the German-US Dual Degree - M.Sc./MBA or the SIBE Digitalization Master - M.Sc. in Digital Leadership. All programs offer you various additional MBA options. You also have the chance for intensive exchange and networking as well as the opportunity to design the seminar mode. How can you make an impact? 

• Support Allianz employees across different Operating Entities with their inquiries relating to our digital learning platforms
• Compile and deliver analytical reports and monthly Degreed dashboard as required
• Liaise with stakeholders across different operating entities to effectively understand and address their expectations and requirements / find solutions
• Contribute to proactive stakeholder management strategies, supporting effective communication/engagement initiatives (For a population of 150,000+ Employees)
• Devise compelling one-pagers and content to enhance organizational alignment and promote best practices

What are you made of? 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Support preparation of monthly and quarterly closings under IFRS, HGB and MVBS
• Support preparation of the annual report by using SmartNotes                                                                                                                                                                            
• Participate in group projects (processes and technical driven projects)                                
• Support with the payment authorization process, including conducting analyses and evaluations
• Providing support to team members, handling ad-hoc tasks, creating documentation, and managing diverse coordination activities

Preferred Qualifications 

• Studying economics, finance, accounting or related field
• German mandatory, very good in English and good communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office (esp. MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Teams), VBA skills is a plus
• Good analytical skills and process understanding
• Highly organized and structured 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Result orientation and the capability to work under time pressure and manage deadlines
