QA Automation Engineer

At Aluxion, we're seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality assurance and have a proven track record in automating test cases to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

• 100% remote position 
• Full time 
• French speaker is required 

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks using Cypress and Playwright.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and identify testing scenarios.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to identify and track defects.
• Work closely with the development team to improve product quality and release processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in a language such as JavaScript (essential for Cypress and Playwright).
• Experience with test automation frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing).
• Ability to write clear, concise, and well-structured test cases.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Knowledge of API testing and performance testing.
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.
