Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for leading and directing the activities of the Insurance Operations Department. The specific areas of responsibility include Customer Service, Printer Center, Data Entry, Mail Room, Business Continuity and others as assigned. The VP of Insurance Operations is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the day-to-day functions of assigned units. This position will establish policies and standards, provide guidance and support for staff development and make recommendations for operational improvements.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tactical & Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute short-term goals and long-term operational strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Customer Service: Experience leading in customer service environment, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
  • Call Center as a Service (CCaaS): Oversee the implementation and management of CCaaS solutions to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Print Center, Mailroom, and Data Entry: Manage the day-to-day operations of these departments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of documents and mail.
  • Business Continuity: Develop and implement comprehensive business resumption plans to minimize disruption in the event of emergencies or disasters.
  • RFP Management: Lead and participate in request for proposal processes to identify, recommend, and implement, and measure innovative solutions.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Financial Management: Monitor operational budgets, control manage costs, and identify, execute, and monitor cost control improvements. drive profitability.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to identify trends, measure performance, and support data driven decisions. inform decision-making.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Insurance or Insurance Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in insurance operations management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Deep understanding of operational processes, including customer service, print center, mailroom, and data entry.
  • Knowledge of CCaaS technologies and their application in customer service.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop teams.
  • Excellent Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and a focus on cost-effectiveness.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and drive innovation.

Compensation$225,000 - $230,000
