The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:

What You Will Do

The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment to assist in the design, development, and testing of S/4 Hana in relation to supply chain compliance and governance.  This role requires someone with proven experience as a project lead, strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to influence across multiple stakeholders and Business Units.  This person will lead long lead initiatives projects, work with the S2P BU leads on the blueprinting phase and assist in overall Source to Pay workstream activities within the RTX wide ERP program.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead & support long lead time projects, priority initiatives and blueprinting activities.

  • Partner with the other leads to ensure a common consistent process and adherence to the project change controls.

  • Monitor S2P design compliance to RTX and BU policies and FAR / DFAR requirements.

  • Validate claims that design requests are necessary because of compliance issues.

  • Oversee segregation of duties within S2P and work with other workstreams to ensure SOD on cross functional processes

  • Actively work to balance the need for controls with the need for efficiency in the process and tools.

  • Participate in pathfinder/proof of concept activities.

  • Use the key design decisions to drive the dependent activities.

  • Assist in defining the Supply Chain business value and use cases associated with the ERP program and define the execution strategy (roadmap) to achieve the value

  • Manage projects ensuring on time schedule, within budget and meeting all technical requirements as defined by the team.

  • Manage Projects Utilizing the CORE framework and tools

  • Document and maintain lessons learned through lifecycle of the projects

  • Provide technical, business and supply chain guidance to the S2P project team

  • Foster relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and business partners

  • Travel required ~ 25%

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree (in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Technology or related field) or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience in Operations and/or Supply Chain, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience

  • Experience working with cross functional/cross business unit teams on high visibility projects with strong business acumen

  • Experience working with teams to define and implement IT Solution architecture or software

  • Ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders and external third parties

  • Ability to understand business processes, identify and mitigate risk

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple priorities with limited oversight

  • Strong knowledge of SAP including interface functionality

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and other analytical tools

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
