Mold Masters is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team! As a Regional Sales Manager, you will drive sales and business development initiatives within their assigned region. Key responsibilities include surpassing sales targets, fostering the development of the sales team, and instituting continuous improvements. This role requires a dynamic individual who can lead and inspire the sales team, cultivate customer relationships, and represent the company at industry events. The Regional Sales Manager will actively seek profitable opportunities to boost regional sales, implement continuous improvement strategies, oversee expenditure analysis and preparation, and assess processes to ensure they align with the company's objectives.
Work You’ll Do
Develop and implement strategic sales plans in collaboration with the Director of North American Sales.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and monitor competition.
Represent the company at trade shows and meetings to promote products.
Maintain relationships with key clients, deliver presentations, negotiate and close deals.
Develop and maintain sales forecasts, set performance goals, and ensure correct staffing levels.
Provide leadership to the sales staff and ensure effective processes and procedures.
Collaborate with Human Resources for timely hiring and training of staff.
Evaluate employee performance, manage relations, and promote productivity improvements.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates equivalent expertise.
A minimum of 3 years in a management position.
Experience in sales and business development, ideally within the plastic injection molding sector.
Candidates must be located on the East Coast.
Ability to travel greater than 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and strong organizational capabilities.
Proficient in reading and interpreting process documentation and procedural manuals.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships, negotiate, and close deals effectively.
Strong written communication skills, capable of producing reports and engaging effectively with employees, management, customers, and external suppliers.
Demonstrated success in managing a sales team.
