Job description

Founded in 2018 in Dublin, Tines is a smart, secure workflow platform designed to automate any manual task, regardless of complexity. By automating workflows, Tines empowers frontline teams to reduce monotonous, manual work and free up valuable time and resources.

Tines is an integrator across your entire stack - if it offers an API, Tines connects with it. Having firmly established Tines as the de-facto automation platform for cybersecurity teams, we’re expanding horizontally to IT, Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams. Tines was built for everyone, delivering transformative and innovative enterprise software to industry leaders like Canva, Intercom, Databricks, Mars and Reddit.

We’re excited about what we’re doing and what’s to come, and we’re looking for others who can lead by our values of Simplicity, Speed, and Soundness. Because Tines is about delivering exceptional customer experiences, while creating a company culture that nurtures individual curiosity, growth, and integrity.

As the Director of Technology Partnerships at Tines, you will lead the strategic development and management of our technology partner ecosystem. Your role will be pivotal in driving mutual value through integrations, joint go-to-market initiatives, and innovative partnerships. You will collaborate closely with product, sales, and marketing teams to identify, nurture, and expand strategic relationships with technology partners, ensuring Tines remains the automation platform of choice for our customers.

This is a remote role that must be based in the Boston or New York City metro areas.
What you will be doing:
  • Strategy Development: Define and execute the technology partnerships strategy to align with Tines’ business objectives and product roadmap.
  • Partner Ecosystem Growth: Identify and prioritize new partnership opportunities that drive value for Tines and our customers.
  • Integration Leadership: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop seamless integrations with key technology partners, enhancing our platform's capabilities.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales to develop joint GTM initiatives, co-branded campaigns, and revenue-generating opportunities with partners.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring ongoing collaboration, satisfaction, and shared success.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs to measure partnership success and regularly report on progress to stakeholders.
  • Industry Thought Leadership: Represent Tines at industry events, webinars, and partner forums, positioning the company as a leader in automation and technology ecosystems.

What you bring with you:
  • Experience: 12+ years in technology partnerships, business development, or related roles, preferably in SaaS or automation platforms with 4+ years of direct people management experience.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and scale partnership programs, with experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and SaaS ecosystems; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated ability to develop long-term strategies while managing day-to-day execution.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building and maintaining successful partner relationships.
  • Results-Oriented: History of delivering measurable outcomes, such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, or market expansion, through partnerships.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

Target Annual Compensation (salary + commission): $320-350K OTE
