Duration: 12 months
Seeking an experienced Integration Engineer with hands-on experience supporting and operating modern integration applications in on-premises and public cloud environments. Operates Integration solutions, either greenfield or reimplementation of existing solutions following company operating procedures and SDLC guidelines. Works closely with internal technical teams to design, prototype, develop and maintain complex applications. Performs proof of concepts to evaluate and prove out non-functional requirements and options. Uses toolsets that adhere to the frameworks of the technical stack complying with the organization’s standards. Process changes, fixes, and requests; minimize the risk to the stability of the applications; and review, test and implement new application related tools or utilities as appropriate. Provides technical support for the application suite and related interfaces.
JOB DUTIES
Develop and operate integration components.
Performs system integration and performance monitoring.
Continuously automates processes during operations.
Develops prototypes to prove out operational designs and delivery patterns.
Fosters collaboration with cross-functional teams including Architecture, Development, Operations, Compliance, Security, etc.
Understands and applies principles, theories and concepts related to the profession and company’s culture.
Provides mentoring and guidance to other team members.

Analyzes current application process and recommend improvements.
Participates in review of high-level design.
Develops and sustains a high-level understanding of the business applications.
Increases and maintains proficiency on operational methodologies and concepts.
Identifies and acts upon functional and technical design and system architecture improvements.
Updates team policies, processes, and workflows for submission to Management.
Requirements
Requires minimum 5 years related work experience in excess of degree requirements.
5+ years of relevant experience
DESIRED SKILLS
Required experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace APM
Required experience with scripting using Python, Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Shell or other automation technologies
Required experience with Integration Middleware like TIBCO, Kafka, ActiveMQ, API Gateway and related technologies.
Required experience working with SQL, and preferably using Oracle
Required experience working with Docker and Kubernetes, and preferably Openshift.
Preferred knowledge of integrations patterns using REST APIs, WSDL/XSD, OpenAPI, etc.
Preferred experience working with Azure messaging solutions like API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus and Event Hub
Preferred experience working with ServiceNow, xMatters and other incident management technologies.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science or related field (Required)
