About the Role
As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our procurement team, responsible for reviewing reports, analyzing inventory and sales data, and drafting purchasing needs to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of inventory. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
What you’ll do
Maintain accurate inventory records to track stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
Analyze sales numbers and trends to determine procurement requirements.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and new products to make informed purchasing decisions.
Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
Generate and issue purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor the progress of delivery schedules and proactively identify and address any delays or issues.
Communicate price discrepancies between purchase orders and the system (NetSuite) to relevant stakeholders for resolution.
