Job description

Strategic Pricing Manager

Restaurant Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Pricing Manager to join our Product team. In this role, you will drive growth and profitability by developing data-driven pricing models and strategies across new business initiatives, renewals, and product launches. Reporting directly to the Head of Product Innovation, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, Engineering, Operations, Accounting, and Finance. Leveraging your expertise in financial analysis, market research, and pricing strategy, you will help optimize pricing structures that enhance customer satisfaction while supporting predictable double-digit growth.

Travel:  Domestic; up to 10%

Location:  Remote in Continental US

Responsibilities

  • Develop pricing models for new business, renewals, and product launches by working across teams
  • Determine pricing strategies by analyzing:
    • Product line profitability
    • Customer price sensitivity and value perception
    • Business case results (e.g., IRR)
    • Research findings, financial models, stakeholder input, and competitor analysis
  • Establish a regular forum for pricing discussions and reviews
  • Support projects like improving the quoting process and go-to-market strategies
  • Build financial models to show the impact of pricing decisions on revenue and margin
  • Simplify pricing structures and processes
  • Work with go-to-market teams to refine pricing models for growth and product value maximization
  • Maintain pricing tools, including price lists, ROI calculators, and dashboards
  • Partner with P&L owners to analyze profitability and implement effective strategies
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, market expansion, and operational efficiency
  • Review and approve pricing variation requests
  • Provide input on contract term negotiations

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years working in pricing, contracts or finance
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
  • Strong customer focus; understanding how it drives business results
  • Proven analytical skills and able to pull insights from qualitative and quantitative sources
  • Proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder pricing projects to success

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or related Master’s degree desired
