Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Strategic Advisor, Strategic Value to support the development, evaluation, and justification of business initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to analyze market trends, assess potential opportunities, and create comprehensive business plans that outline the milestones, costs, risks, KPI’s and potential return on investment for proposed initiatives.What You’ll Do:
Assist with the development and analysis of detailed business plans that provide clear, data-driven justifications for new initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI projections, risk assessments, and resource requirements.
Engage with cross-functional teams, including finance, transformation operations, enterprise strategy, and other business stakeholders, to gather necessary data, insights, and perspectives for developing well-rounded business plans.
Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities that could influence the business plans, ensuring recommendations are aligned with market dynamics.
Work with detailed financial models that support the analysis of investment opportunities, including cost and benefit estimates.
Identify and evaluate risks associated with proposed business initiatives, recommending mitigation strategies to enhance the likelihood of success.
Prepare clear, concise presentations around value, for senior management and other key stakeholders, effectively communicating the rationale, potential benefits, and expected outcomes of initiatives.
Track the performance of implemented projects and initiatives, measuring outcomes against expectations.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
5+ years of experience in related field.
In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.
Bonus Points: (Preferred qualifications)
5+ years of experience in the areas of business case analysis, financial modeling, or strategic planning strongly preferred.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with project management or business transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with business intelligence tools

Salary Range
At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed.
