At CONCENTRIX CATALYST we create and build customer experiences for the most recognized brands in the world. Our Experience Design team is continuing to grow and we are looking for passionate, quick-thinking designers to join us. You will use your skills to solve business problems as a consultant and you will also work closely with small, tight-knit teams and build your craft by being exposed to a variety of clients and projects – from pure user-centered research and design to working inside Agile development teams to deliver innovative and functional products.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience.
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Develop high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes using Figma.
  • Participate in user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance product usability.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
  • Create and maintain a cohesive design system to ensure consistent user experiences across all platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.

What we look for:

  • Minimum of 4 years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and projects.
  • You know how to leverage out of the box platforms and build components that can be reused
  • Proficiency in Figma and other design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision).
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows.
  • Proficient with creating design systems and establishing design principles
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Strong communication skills to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience using Storybook, html and css is a plus but not required
  • Degree in Design, Interaction Design, or related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in conducting user research, usability testing.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
