Job description

Circa £45,000 salary dependant on skills and experience

Permanent Full time, 37 hours a week

Home working and Office – Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex

Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Your base location can be any of the Anglian Water offices throughout the region. The expectation is that you would work 2-3 days in an office or on site.

Dive into the world of Wastewater!

Reporting to the Root cause Analysis Manager, you will be part of team who undertake RCM studies against recognised approaches or standards for Anglian Water’s asset portfolio based on initial risk assessments. The role will investigate mainly rotational equipment failures and tasks which include a wide range of options including Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Predictive Testing & Inspection (PT&I), Repair (Reactive Maintenance) and Preventative Maintenance techniques including Condition Based Maintenance in an integrated manner.

The RCM engineer will utilise data from our enterprise-wide asset life cycle system to help improve the equipment availability, performance and asset health, through the use of a Reliability Centred Maintenance approach for critical assets, alongside root cause analysis investigations.  Working as part of the Asset maintenance & Performance Team the role will have a regional focus coving over 6000 sites and 300,000 items of equipment.

The job holder will implement a systematic approach to define a routine maintenance program composed of cost-effective tasks that preserve important functions of the asset. The RCM will then be used to create a cost-effective maintenance strategy to address dominant causes of equipment failure.

As a valued employee, you’ll be entitled to:

  • Full private healthcare with no excess
  • 26 days leave, rising with service + Bank Holidays, with the option to swap Christmas and Easter holidays for those celebrated by your religion
