About The Role
The Senior Manager of Global Tax Strategy and M&A will work closely with the global tax department, corporate functional teams, and local operating company teams to support the development, execution, and documentation of Veralto’s global tax strategy and M&A. This role is responsible for collaborating with and supporting the global tax strategy team primarily addressing mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”), tax strategy, cash management, and transfer pricing. This role will develop strong relationships with corporate development, treasury, controllership, legal, FP&A, and global operational teams.
This flexible role is based at Veralto’s headquarters in Waltham, MA. The position reports to the Director of Global Tax Planning and Projects, who is based in Waltham, MA. The role requires strong subject matter expertise in M&A, multi-national structuring, due diligence, and post deal integration as well as a general knowledge of transfer pricing principles. The ideal candidate would benefit from a strong grounding in finance, accounting, and cash management. This role requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally periodically.
Your Responsibilities
M&A – support M&A due diligence, pre and post transaction structuring, integration, legal document review and financing.
Strategy – Co-develop and assist global tax efforts in support of the company’s global strategies while working directly with the Director of Global Tax Planning and Projects. Initiate and facilitate rationalization efforts.
Cash Management – Support initiatives addressing intercompany cash flows including repatriation, intercompany loans, and other transactions as identified through partnership with the treasury team.
Transfer pricing – Have a general understanding of transfer pricing rules and regulations and how to effectively integrate these concepts into our global tax strategy and deal structuring.
Strategic Business Partnering – Be a trusted business partner to Veralto’s business development team and our operating companies. Regularly interact with designated individuals regarding tax compliance, tax benefits and risks, and the interrelationship between operational decisions/direction.
Your Experience
10+ years of M&A experience, including pre- and post-acquisition planning, due diligence, legal document review and integration, cross-border structuring experience, proficient in the US/international technical tax rules and regulations involving global tax planning concepts.
Transfer pricing and supply chain planning a plus.
Operational experience in a complex, global enterprise and/or experience in a manager or equivalent position with a major law or accounting firm advising complex global enterprises.
Your Attributes
Strong communication skills (in writing and orally) including the ability to express complex processes and concepts in plain language for the appropriate audience.
Must be able to lead and coordinate tax analysis in support of strategic initiatives and represent the tax function with outside advisors and internal stakeholders.
Will display and operate in a way that never compromises ethics and integrity and will be non-political in all dealings with agendas that are above board and understood by all.
Ability to work with information that is highly confidential.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Financing structuring
Cash management
Transfer pricing and/or supply chain optimization
Tax technology solutions, automations, and transformations

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $106400 - $186000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
