Job Summary:
The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Administrator will support and maintain the organizations HRIS applications and modules.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but may serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
• Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
• Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
• Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
• Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
• Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
• Serves as a liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS projects.
• Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
• Performs other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Paylocity, including but not limited to the HR & Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Onboarding, Performance, Recruiting, and Time & Labor modules
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation and payroll practices, and federal and state respective employment laws.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work or military experience
• Certification by SHRM (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP), HRCI (PHR, SPHR, GPHR), AIHR, PCSI, or similar accredited organization
• Experience migrating data between HRIS systems
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
