Job description

SoundHound AI believes every person should be able to interact naturally with the products around them–by simply talking. With a global reach spanning two dozen languages, we build Voice AI products with conversational intelligence for various industries, including cars, restaurants, retail, healthcare, banking, financial services, and insurance. Clients use our products to optimize employee efficiency and to extend their brand in new and meaningful ways to end users.

The Channel Account Manager is responsible for fostering strong relationships with channel partners and driving sales opportunities through these partnerships. This role involves working closely with existing partners and identifying new ones to promote and sell Amelia, a leading conversational AI solution designed for high-volume Contact Centers. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in channel sales or partner management and a solid understanding of channel ecosystems, including CCaaS platforms like Genesys, Five9, and NICE.

In this role, you will:
  • Develop expertise in Amelia’s solutions and value propositions across multiple industries to enable Customer Experience transformation in Contact Centers.
  • Manage and grow a pipeline of opportunities within a 12-month rolling sales cycle by leveraging established and new channel partnerships.
  • Build relationships with channel partners, providing support, training, and tools to help them succeed in selling Amelia’s solutions.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify joint opportunities, craft go-to-market strategies, and close deals.
  • Assist in onboarding new channel partners to expand market reach and ensure steady pipeline growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, helping them navigate the sales cycle and offering ongoing support.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Engineering, Proposal Development, etc.) to support sales efforts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, partner priorities, and competitive landscapes.
  • Represent SoundHound AI at industry events, trade shows, and partner-specific conferences.
  • Assist partners in preparing joint proposals, RFPs, and contract negotiations to secure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Continuously enhance your knowledge of Amelia’s solutions and related sales methodologies.
  • Monitor and report on partner performance, providing recommendations for improving outcomes.
We would love to hear from you if:
  • You have 8+ years of experience in channel sales or partner management, particularly in the technology sector.
  • You have demonstrated success in achieving sales goals through channel partnerships.
  • You are familiar with Contact Center platforms such as Genesys, Five9, NICE, or similar ecosystems.
  • You have strong relationship-building skills and the ability to present solutions to decision-makers at all levels.
  • You have experience managing a sales pipeline across multiple opportunities and partners.
  • You bring a collaborative approach to problem-solving and driving results.
  • You have the ability to align partner and client goals with SoundHound AI’s solutions.
  • You are willing to travel as necessary to support partner relationships and attend industry events.

We’d be especially excited if you also have experience with autonomic and cognitive solutions. Familiarity with analytical tools and operational business processes is also a plus.
