What is special about this role?

As a Dedicated Advisor, you will work with the Partnerships team on the successful implementation, launch, and scaling of Helix’s population genomics partners, which include leading health systems from across the country. From defining and managing work plans, to creatively solving cross-functional problems, you will play a critical role in helping our partners (and Helix) drive clinical and research value through large-scale genomics. You’ll work closely with many teams at Helix – including Clinical, Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, and Legal – to do this.

As a Dedicated Advisor at Helix you will:

  • Support the successful onboarding, implementation, launch, and scaling of Helix’s partners and, ultimately, their success on our platform
  • Understand partners’ needs and motivations and identify areas for improvement and expansion to support partners through launch and beyond
  • Know our partners’ organizations inside and out – serving as the go-to source of knowledge to help us better understand how we can help them be successful
  • Define, communicate, and proactively manage project work plans for internal and external stakeholders
  • Help develop a programmatic approach to partner onboarding and management to help rapidly scale the number of partners we are able to onboard and support
  • Serve as the chief problem solver – identifying and understanding issues and working closely with the necessary teams across Helix to solve them creatively (and efficiently)
  • Be the glue that holds cross-functional teams together across Helix and partner with cross-functional teams – including Business Development, Clinical, Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Legal – to ensure all aspects of projects go smoothly
  • Gather insights and feedback from partners to inform the product roadmap in collaboration with internal Product and Engineering teams
  • Report on NPS metrics and process to measure partnership health
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve partner success function to further drive internal scalability, partner value and client engagement

About you:

  • 4 – 6 years of experience managing strategic programs in the healthcare industry, ideally with a focus on consulting, project management experience
  • Process and workflow expertise. Knowledge of how to design and improve workflows 
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and / or life sciences markets and the key players and trends
  • Team player able to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across a broad range of functions and levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Travel Requirement: Up to 30%

Pluses:

  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams at leading health systems
  • Knowledge of / experience in genomics
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other relevant CRM
  • Familiarity with Tableau or other reporting platform
  • Experience creating, mapping and optimizing workflows
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in a health or life sciences field

Expected Pay For This Role:

There are 3 distinct parts to your Helix offer: 1) Base Salary  2) Annual Bonus 3) Equity 

Expected Helix Base: $116,000 - $153,000 

Expected Helix Discretionary Annual Bonus: 10% of your annual salary

Equity: We offer generous equity at Helix. If you receive a Helix offer your recruiter will book dedicated time with you to educate you on our equity model.

The salary range above is our reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role across US locations. Actual starting pay will be based on non-discriminatory job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Your recruiter can share more about your specific work location salary range during the hiring process.

What To Expect During Your Onboarding Week:

We want to make sure your first week is spent learning the foundations. You will be invited to live orientation sessions and spend time with your hiring manager developing your individual roadmap to success. This experience will include sessions that cover your benefits, security & privacy training, an introduction to the OKR framework used at Helix and our communication tools and norms. 

What To Expect During Your First 90 days:

First 30 days:  you’ll spend time learning the Helix way, completing training and onboarding for your roles, and getting introduced to your team and relevant stakeholders. You’ll also gain a deeper understanding of our customers, our products, the impact we make in the lives of our communities, and how to thrive at Helix through participation in Helix U.  

Day 30 - 60: you’ll spend time contributing to projects, deeply familiarizing yourself with team and company processes, and developing a deeper understanding of Helix’s products, services and capabilities.

Day 60 - 90: you’ll build your OKRs with your manager, start to take ownership of projects and initiatives on your team, and begin to demonstrate your impact on the Helix mission.
