About the Role

A client developing an innovative TV pilot seeks a skilled video editor with expertise in facial manipulation and morphing effects. This short-term project involves creating a dynamic sizzle reel that showcases unique visual comedy elements through advanced face replacement techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble footage to create a compelling sizzle reel that aligns with the creative vision
  • Execute advanced face morphing and lip synchronization effects, specifically focusing on facial replacement onto sumo wrestler footage
  • Maintain smooth transitions and ensure natural movement in all face replacement sequences
  • Colour grade and apply necessary post-production effects to maintain visual consistency

Requirements

  • Proven expertise with facial tracking, morphing, and replacement techniques
  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of lip sync techniques and facial animation principles
  • Portfolio demonstrating previous work with face replacement or similar VFX projects
  • Experience working with comedy or entertainment content preferred
